Join me and Anna Kume at L’Assise for a Japanese Tea Ceremony followed by a Crystal Sound Bath. We will begin with a traditional Sencha tea ceremony, including a tasting. Anna will introduce you to this ancient meditative art and explain the symbolism of certain gestures. You will then be guided in a meditation and into a relaxing and regenerating crystal bowls sound bath. The workshop will end with a moment of sharing.
Anna Kume, of Japanese origin, is a professional violinist and a graduate of the Tokyo College of Music in Japan, as well as the HEMU in Lausanne. In addition to her musical activity, she has been practicing the Sencha Tea Ceremony at an Ogasawararyu school for 5 years. She specializes in Sencha tea and teaches this art at her home in Lavigny. Senchado uses green leaf tea, especially gyokuro. Anna devotes her time to the culture of senchado and the transmission of these traditions.
Space is limited, thank you for registering in advance.
